Her advice? Steer clear of homemade remedies, especially for NZ wool carpets. Beyond her professional commitments, Wendy is actively involved in her community, volunteering with the local softball club, playing hockey, and indulging in her love for cooking and audiobooks.

What inspired you to start this business?

I enjoy making customers happy getting out stains that they thought no one could.

What’s the most challenging stain you’ve ever had to remove?

Red alcohol stains.

How has technology impacted the carpet cleaning industry since you first started?

Low moisture cleaning has revolutionised the industry giving better results.

What’s the most important advice you would give to someone trying to maintain their carpets at home?

Do not google a homemade remedy! Many are not suitable for NZ wool carpets. A fair amount of our work is repairing damage to carpet from people using the wrong products, applying too much or trying too hard.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?

I volunteer with our softball club on the board and coaching. I also play hockey in winter, and I love to cook and listen to audio books.
